I have been passionate about photography, capturing the beauty of landscapes and memorable places I visited with my family. My journey began when my mother gifted me my first Lomo film camera in elementary school. Although I no longer use a film camera, my love for photography has only grown, and I have continued to create unique and personal works.
When taking pictures, I pay close attention to details such as contrast and focus, allowing me to craft photographs that stand out.

Art Portfolio
As an artist myself, I enjoy creating still-life art pieces. When I observe an object to paint and place on to the canvas, I can see things beyond the initial simple presentation of the object and allow me to be more detail oriented. Being able to look at the miniscule details, applying them to art, encourage me to ignore or underestimate the little things in life and teaches me to appreciate the complexity of life.

Viewing art is one of my favorite ways to nurture creativity and find peace amidst the demands of a busy college life filled with overwhelming schedules and responsibilities. Admiring extraordinary works of art helps restore my mind, allowing me to perceive a fast-paced and complex world through a calming and simplistic visual medium.
I am particularly drawn to postmodernist art, a style that fascinates me with its versatility. From straightforward, intuitive exhibitions to intricate displays bursting with vibrant colors, postmodernism transcends surface appearances to express the artist’s unique philosophy and message.
What inspires me most is the ability to glimpse a piece of the artist’s soul within their work. This connection is both awe-inspiring and beautiful, giving me a meaningful and personal relationship with the art I encounter.
Musical Literacy
Watching others perfom is a source of creativity and inspiration for me. I have diverse music tastes and on weekends when I have leisure time, I head to Hongdae, the center of Korean culture, to listen to small, up-and-coming bands with their own distinct colors.
